Our purpose at Ako is to lift confidence, knowledge and understanding through cultural capability development.
In te reo māori, the word 'Ako' means to learn and to teach. This is reflective of the Māori worldview that education is a mutual exchange between kaiako, teacher and tauira, student.
We provide a fun, safe, and mana enhancing learning experience that builds cultural competency and confidence with te reo and te ao māori.
